MV Drafting provides affordable structural drafting services to engineering firms throughout Colorado, enabling hard-working engineers to save time and money on their projects so that they can focus on design opportunities.

We offer comprehensive structural drafting services for residential and commercial projects, including light-frame wood construction, PEMB foundation drawings, multi-story structural steel framed structures, and renovations to existing buildings.​​
Meet Mel (Owner & Founder)
​Mel is the Owner & Founder of MV Drafting.
​
A Colorado native, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Colorado Boulder in 2021.
​
For the past 3+ years, she has served as a Structural Design Engineer at HCL Engineering & Surveying. Her robust experience includes, but is not limited to, light-frame wood construction projects (single-family and multi-family residences), multi-level steel-framed buildings, and modifications to existing buildings.
Mel's strong work ethic and perfectionist nature ensures a meticulous QAQC process that produces high quality drawings.​
